Description
Our research is dedicated to the analysis of the molecular mechanisms involved in the growth of Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax in vitro, pathogenesis in mice and humans, and resistance to antimalarial drugs. Our main objective is to describe the genes involved in parasite apoptosis, and parasite-induced apoptosis in human cells in order to understand their regulation and control their expression.
