DESCRIPTION

Our research is dedicated to the analysis of molecular mechanisms involved in Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax growth in vitro, pathogeny in mice and humans, and resistance to anti-malarial drugs. Our main objective is to describe the genes involved in parasite-apoptosis, and human cells-apoptosis induced by the parasite in order to understand their regulation and to control their expression.
